This folder contains "An Autobiography of Joseph G. Nelson, Edited by his Grandson, Kaye Fred Nelson, March 1965." It consists of 90 pages. The preface states, "Joseph G. Nelson was born March 10, in Goshen, Utah. He died December 5, 1950, at the age of 86. His posterity as of June, 1964, is 12 children, 38 grandchildren, 84 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. ... The following record is taken from writings Grandfather compiled in 1938. I feel his work in these writings were inspired by the same spirit that typified a long and fruitful life of service to his fellowman." It is unclear what the provenance is of this copy of the pamphlet. Bruce Furr likely got a copy of it when he was working as a research assistant for Dr. Hyrum Andrus before he left BYU in 1967.
