  • Abstract

    A collection of three dimensional objects pertaining to the history of Dixie State University and the local community.

  • Historical note

    This collection was created by the Special Collections Librarian and Archivist to bring together the individual three dimensional objects in the larger archival collection. It is intended to grow as new objects are added and to provide resources for creating exhibits on the history of Dixie State University and the local community.

  • Scope and Contents

    This collection contains a variety of three dimensional artifacts from the history of Dixie State University and the local community. Items include commemorative plates, plate glass artwork, a dress, commemorative plaques, commemorative t-shirts, and other items. The items may be single donations or purchases or may have been separated from other collections, in which case a note has been made to indicate which items belong to which collections. This collection is expected to continuously grow as new items are acquired.

    Collection is open to researchers by appointment. This collection contains fragile items that may require special handling and care. The archivist will make the final decision regarding access to fragile materials.

Dixie State University Library Special Collections and Archives holds the copyright to unpublished material in the collection that is not in the public domain. A user may be asked to submit a "Request for one-time use of photocopies or reproductions" form in order to obtain reproductions.
